Accessing Services & Supports:

Community residents typically access services/supports either by dropping by the centre or calling; a formal referral is not required to access services.  Residents who are interested in accessing services and or support are seen by one the Centre’s Assessment/Resource (intake) workers, who provide information and coordinate services in a case management  role which includes the necessary referrals and follow-up required to ensure community residents needs are being addressed.  Depending on the demand for service, a community resident can typically be seen within a day or two of their initial contact with the Centre for an intake, however, if the situation warrants an immediate appointment, this will be accommodated.
